I came across this blog post from another photographer and I must say I couldn't agree more. However with that said I do sell my digital negatives but I have always been very particular about only giving the DVD to my clients when they get their 200 4x6 prints in their image box. This way they can see GOOD processing first before they take my DVD some where and the prints look terrible and they think it is my photography and not the labs processing. With that said anytime you do a large print for display you REALLY want to use a pro lab not a consumer lab. Here is a link to the article.
