Kendra & Jason Dream Wedding: Whitford Plantation Wedding Photographer New Bern NC
What an amazing wedding. There were so many special moments to photograph. Although the wedding was absolutely beautiful what was the most beautiful was how the bride and groom never lost for a minute that it was about them getting married and not the cake, flowers or having everything run perfectly. (Because it never really does.) ; ) A true testament to the bride is how she reacted to a very close family member who got lost on the way to the ceremony. The bride knowing this special person would be very sad at missing the ceremony waited for her to attend. I know all the guests felt the same way knowing how special this person was to her and the family. During the ceremony when the bride and groom exchanged rings the bride got so excited. MORE excited than normal. She was laughing and smiling as he put the ring on her. Evidently the ring was not supposed to be ready in time for the ceremony but SOMEHOW the groom made it happen. So she was very surprised when he put it on her finger. Next (and this one made us all cry) the groom had sold an old camero that he had personally restored to help in putting down the down payment for their first home together. The bride and groom had decided to do a rose petal exit after the ceremony. Can you guess what was waiting outside for them? THE CAMERO! The bride had bought it back for him! Amazing... And lastly during the toasts a groomsman whom I we shot their wedding a couple of years ago presented the groom with a replica of the camero that the groom sold knowing how important that car was to him. Obviously he didn't know the bride had bought it back but still so thoughtful! A GREAT group of people. I absolutely LOVED photographing this wedding but I am not sure which I loved more- the wedding photography or the day after session! And I will be posting their Mr. & Mrs. Session the next day soon! You will love it!
