A Little Experiment... Raleigh Family Photographer

I always love shooting with other photographers because it means I get to hang back and play a little with the camera versus directing the clients and playing with the camera.  This was one of those shoots.  One of my assistants who is starting out on her own a little did this shoot for some friends of hers.  She didn't REALLY need me there.  I think it just made her feel better.  But I certainly had a good time and loved the shots I got and played around a little too.  Thanks Liz!  It was fun as always!

Sweet Baby Girl F: Raleigh Baby Photographer

What a little cutie!  I just LOVE photographing babies.  I have two of my own but they aren't this size anymore so this is the only way I can get my baby fix!  She was so sweet and cuddly.  Nothing like a little baby love!  Thanks Mom and Baby F.

The M Family Portrait Shoot: Family Portrait Photographer Raleigh NC

What an awesome family.  I have known this family going on 6 years now.  They are some of the most wonderful people you would ever want to meet.  You would want your kids to go to school with their kids, be their neighbor or just have as a close friend. Why? Because they are probably the most kind, generous and fun people to know.  I am glad to have met them and been able to shoot their family portrait.  They were up for anything which always makes for a fun shoot!

Senoir Portrait Shoot: : Raleigh Senior Photographer

What a fun senior shoot!  These two decided since they had spent 2 of their 3 years of high school together it was only befitting to do their senior pictures together.  We had so much fun just running around downtown playing in all different areas!  These are only a couple of the fun places we went this day.  You can tell they have a lot of fun together.  Can you say SENIORITIS!

Step Up Ministries Graduation Day!

Step Up is one of those wonderful charities that really makes a difference in a persons life whether you be the recipient or the giver.  Step Up Ministries selects a group of individuals every quarter to go through a 9 week program. This program is an extensive and exhaustive program of teaching life skills to both the adult and children.  This includes learning to budget, be on time for work, do their taxes, participate in their children's lives and much more.  Many of us take this for granted but if you were never taught these skills where do you get them?  Participants come from anywhere from a homeless shelter to having been incarcerated or other equally challenging situations.  The program is about forgiveness and taking responsibility.  It helps the participants recognize their potential and not blame others for their situation and to take control of their lives rather than being a victim of their circumstances.  The graduations are always very emotional as the participants and their co-partners have been through a lot during the 9 weeks.   And some people don't make it.  It is a very in your face kind of program and takes a strong individual to take a deep look at themselves, take responsibility and move on.   I feel HONORED to give to such a wonderful charity.

Ruthanne & Josh: Kinston Wedding Photographer

I met Ruthanne about 2 years ago when her sister got married.  Who would know that I would be seeing the family so soon again!  I always love when I get to photograph the same group again.  You see so many familiar faces and the comfort level of the family is always great because they know how you work.

Ruthanne and Josh have been dating for quite sometime.  Their familiarity and ease with each other was so apparent.  I think one of my favorite moments was in watching Ruthanne on the alter with just a touch of glistening in her eyes from tearing up.  What an amazing moment.  Josh was so calm, cool and collected.  Never doubting any step.  It was a match made in heaven for sure....
